The New Orleans Saints placed Jabari Greer on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday, two days after the cornerback suffered a significant knee injury against the San Francisco 49ers.
Greer jumped to defend a pass during the first quarter of New Orleans’ game on Sunday. When he landed, his leg buckled awkwardly and Greer immediately fell to the ground and clutched his left knee. Trainers stabilized his knee with an air cast on the field before he was carted back to the locker room.
