Saints vs. Falcons halftime score: New Orleans up 14-13 at Georgia Dome

The New Orleans Saints lead the Atlanta Falcons 14-13 at halftime of Thursday night’s game in Atlanta. Both offenses have done well, but the Saints were able to finish for touchdowns twice, and hold a slight advantage as a result

The Falcons held the Saints to a 3-and-out on the first possession of Thursday’s game. The two teams then traded five consecutive scoring drives. The two offenses combined for 412 total yards, led by strong performances by the starting quarterbacks.

Losing Greer for the rest of the season is a significant blow for the Saints. He started all 10 games this season and was one of the team’s veteran leaders. With Greer out, second-year cornerback Corey White will likely step into the starting lineup. White played 51 snaps on Sunday, his highest total this season, according to Pro Football Focus. Chris Carr will also likely see an increase in snaps as he moves into the nickel role.

The 31-year-old Greer will finish the season with 30 tackles, 12 Real Cheap Jerseys pass deflections and one interception. His 12 pass deflections were by far New Orleans’ highest total, with Keenan Lewis second on the team with eight.

Rookie third round pick Mike Glennon is off to a decent start as the Buccaneers’ starting Philadelphia Eagles Cheap Jerseys quarterback. One of a few problems he has had as the starter is finding rapport with Bucs big play wide receiver Vincent Jackson. Jackson has never been the best route runner and he isn’t exactly a burner. On the other hand, at 6’5 and 230 pounds, he is and always has been a force to be reckoned with on deep balls.
